Text Box: June 1, 2007 Due to the closing of Abernathy’s Department Store, all Santa Maria School apparel will be purchased directly through Xtra Credit, the uniform store, located in Gurnee Mills. The order form lists the required uniform apparel that must be purchased for all grade levels from Xtra Credit. Orders may be placed either by using the order form* which is to be sent directly to Xtra Credit, or you may go to the store to place your order in person. A 10% DISCOUNT will be GIVEN for PREORDERS placed before June 20th. *(order forms can be emailed to you if you did not receive one. Send your request to paddyf@smdpschool.com) The current plaid jumpers for girls in grades K through 4 and the plaid skirts for the girls in grades 5 through 8 may be worn only for the next two school years (2007-2008 and 2008-2009). Beginning in August of 2009 the old plaid will no longer be acceptable. The new plaid compliments the other uniform apparel that is already part of our Santa Maria school uniform. Any current uniform apparel must be in good condition if it is to be worn for the next school year. There is to be no faded clothing, no apparel that is in need of repair, and the screen-printed emblem sweatshirts will no longer be acceptable. Current uniform apparel: navy or khaki slacks or uniform shorts navy or white short sleeve polo shirts with Santa Maria logo sweatshirts with embroidered Sonics emblem plaid skirt or jumper Current GYM uniforms for GRADES 5 - 8 will also be available at Xtra Credit New Optional items are available: blue micro-fleece V-neck or V-neck long sleeve pull-over navy or khaki skorts (for girls in grades K - 4 ONLY) All students, especially students entering kindergarten or those students new to our school, who do not have the opportunity to get old uniform apparel passed down to them, will need to purchase all uniform apparel (excluding socks, tights, and shoes) from Xtra Credit for the coming school year. We are excited to have this opportunity to make it a one-stop shopping experience for Santa Maria school uniform apparel. We are looking forward to a long relationship with Xtra Credit.
