Text Box: Santa Maria del Popolo School GRADE 7/8 SUPPLY LIST 2008 - 2009 All students are to purchase and bring the following items on Meet Your Teacher night or on the first day of school. 5 pocket folders with clips 6 spiral notebooks (with perforated pages) - WIDE RULED 1 spiral notebook—WIDE RULED (for P.E. class) 1 pkg. white loose-leaf paper—WIDE RULED/STANDARD SIZE (to be replaced as needed) 4 pkgs. of 3 x 5 ruled index cards 1 notebook of graph paper 1 computer flash drive 1 package fine tip markers (non-toxic) 1 pkg. broad tip markers (non-toxic) 5 black dry erase markers—broad tip: chisel or bullet 3-4 #2 black pencils 1 pkg. of 12 colored pencils 2 pkg. black or blue erasable pens 2 red pens 1 black Sharpie permanent marker 1 pkg. of highlighters 1 pair of scissors 1 12-inch plastic or wooden ruler with metric and standard measurements 1 protractor with a 6 inch ruler 1 pencil case 2 glue sticks 1 roll of paper towels 2 boxes 200 count facial tissues 1 pkg. 250 count paper napkins 1 drawstring bag for gym clothes. (This is available for purchase through the Santa Maria Athletic Association) STUDENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE TO HAVE PROPER SUPPLIES AT ALL TIMES. To insure uniformity, $38.00 is due the first day of school to cover the cost of the following items purchased for each seventh and eighth grade students. 1 assignment notebook 3 novels Misc. Art/Science materials 2 reams of copy paper Teen Newsweek Science Magazine Retreat fee Misc. items for primary pals An 8th grade Confirmation/Graduation fee will be assessed by May 2009. Each new (transfer) 7th or 8th grade student must also bring $20.00 to cover the cost of a Spanish book used from 5th through 8th grade.
